Close To My Heart - Looking Forward

 Happy New Year Everyone!

Well a new year is a good time for me to try something new. This is the first of my scrappy snappy video shorts.  Whenever I do a quick project, I can quickly show you how it turned out.

Do not fear, I will continue to do regular length videos as well on select Wednesdays - I hope you'll keep watching.

Today's layout uses some old Mix-in paper from my CTMH stash as well as a single sheet left from the 2016 paper line - Swan Lake.  The January 2024 Page Maps Sketch I used can be found here.

Here is the finished layout.  The teal paper is on the reverse side of the swan paper, and the zip strip comes from that sheet as well.  The arrows on the zip strip work wonderfully with the arrows from the stamp and thin cut set.  The alphabet is from American Crafts, circa 2013.

This will be the first page of my 2023 album. Did you notice I chose a 4 x 5 photo size?  I have been playing around with this size and find it much to my liking.
