1. Joy of the Season Special Starts Sunday - October 1 October’s special will feature a festive Cut Above® card kit called Joy of the Season! This kit contains the materials for creating 20 beautiful Christmas cards—10 standard size cards and 10 slimline—including pre-printed card bases, coordinating die-cuts, and envelopes! The special also features an exclusive stamp set with several stamp sentiments designed for the insides of your cards. National Stamping Month Event Change Close to My Heart is changing the dates of the events we’ve planned for our National Stamping Month special. Instead of holding only 2 events in support of this special, we will now be holding 4 virtual events, one event for each workshop!  The National Stamping Month events will take place next week on the following schedule: Tuesday, October 3: You Go Girl Cardmaking Workshop Wednesday, October 4: Sending You a Hug Cardmaking Workshop Thursday, October 5: All the Best Wishes Cardmaking Workshop Friday, October 6: It’s Your Birthday Cardmaking Workshop Each event will begin at 2:00 pm (MDT). During the events, our presenters will walk through all the steps involved in creating 1 of each card, including cutting papers, stamping, and using the stencils, providing helpful tips along the way. There will also be exciting product giveaways that you won’t want to miss! Be sure to mark your calendar for these events so you can share in the excitement of this fantastic special. Whether you have the workshop kits and are prepared to craft along with us during the event or you simply tune in to watch and be part of the fun and excitement of this wonderful special, we hope you’ll join us for next week’s Say It with Style workshop events!  3. Shipping Update for US Orders We are making some updates to our ordering systems to allow for more responsive shipping on US orders based on the weight of the order. On orders under 10 lbs., US customers will have the option to choose either FedEx Ground Economy or FedEx Ground. For orders over 10 lbs., the FedEx Ground Economy shipping option will no longer be available, leaving only the FedEx Ground shipping option. The rate for the FedEx Ground shipping option will depend on the weight of the order as well. For orders under 10 lbs., the FedEx Ground shipping option will be $15.95 or 15.95%, whichever is greater. For orders over 10 lbs., the rate will instead be $8.95 or 8.95%. FedEx charges us more to ship orders under 10 pounds via Ground Service, which is the reason for the different rates based on the package weight.
